The Gan Mama Cafe is an initiative based in Tama City, Tokyo. Ms. Fumiko Inoue, the founder of Gan Mama Cafe, herself experienced breast cancer while raising her 2-year-old son. Understanding the feelings of loneliness and concerns that mothers face when they are diagnosed with cancer during their parenting journey, she started Gan Mama Cafe to create a space where individuals who have had similar experiences can connect, share their inner thoughts, lighten their hearts even just a bit, and support each other as comrades.
This event is organized to support the activities of Gan Mama Cafe, with the cooperation of Benesse Stardome, a planetarium facility operated by Benesse Corporation as part of their community contribution efforts. The first half will consist of a screening of "LIFE®︎ Inochi," followed by a tea party in the latter half.
