LIFE Returns to Himeji Science Museum
Himeji Science Museum Planetarium / Himeji, Hyogo Prefecture
An organizer’s article published the following day reported that screenings resumed on June 6, 2020. Screenings were at 9:45 on Saturdays and Sundays; the end of the run is based on the former screening venue listings.

LIFE INOCHI at Himeji Science Museum
Screenings resume on Saturday, June 6, under the full moon. ✨🌏✨
Himeji Science Museum was the very first venue to offer regular screenings of LIFE INOCHI.
So many people came to see the film. From here, our connections with Himeji and neighboring Tatsuno grew rapidly.
Many people were disappointed when the 2018 screenings ended, but LIFE INOCHI is returning for the 2020 program year.

At a time when the world is filled with anxiety, racial discrimination has also come to the fore. After the coronavirus outbreak, other issues seem to be surfacing, shaking the world further.
Yet this is precisely the time when we hope you will remember the wonder and preciousness of having been born—and the love within each and every one of us.
What is life? What is love? We created this work in the hope that people would feel and remember these things within themselves. We hope it can be of help now, when it is needed.
For anyone feeling stress during these days of separation from others, we sincerely hope this will be a moment to open and release the heart.

It appears that visitors will need to:
1. Wear a mask
2. Have their temperature checked before entry
3. Provide their name and address
(The form appears to be available to complete in advance on the website or Himeji Science Museum’s website.)
This year, LIFE INOCHI will be screened on Saturdays and Sundays at 9:45.
(Listed as Full-dome C on the schedule.)
Please contact Himeji Science Museum with inquiries about planetarium screenings.
We recommend visiting Himeji Science Museum in the morning, then stopping at Shoshazan Engyoji Temple, where LIFE INOCHI was screened outdoors and where The Last Samurai was filmed. 😊
Please take good care when heading out. ^_^
