The first planetarium screening in Shimane
We visited Sahimel for a planetarium screening.
The venue was full, and some people were unable to get in.
We were told that around 300 people came.
Thank you so very much!
Our heartfelt thanks
to everyone on the organizing committee as well.
Once again, some young children told us they had cried,
while others said that their tears had begun to flow
from the very start.
Local people organized this screening,
and LIFE INOCHI became a hub connecting people.
We are truly happy to have shared such warmth and joy with local parents and children.
Sahimel is surrounded by lush greenery.
It was a wonderful place.
The people of Shimane
were so warm and kind.
Sahimel is at Mount Sanbe.
We learned that the area where Izumo Taisha stands today was formed
by an enormous flow of earth and rock from an eruption of Mount Sanbe.
Before our dedication screening at Izumo Taisha, we discovered this history at the nature museum:
the sacred Mount Sanbe had created the land on which Izumo Taisha now stands.
LIFE INOCHI was screened at that sacred place,
and then we would be giving a dedication screening at Izumo Taisha on October 16. That sequence of events astonished us anew.
Everything is connected.
It feels as though wonderful encounters,
still unknown to us, will continue to unfold.
