MEMORIES & WORDS

Photographs, and words from that time.

Love, Life, and a Great Wish

The winter solstice.
A time of celebration, overflowing with tears and love,
as so many people let their lives shine
and resonate with one another.

A cleansing and learning of the soul through the power of art,
and joy from the heart.

The energy of vibration,
of waves and wavelengths,

is given out by those who feel it,
and the whole venue resonates.

That energy grows many times over,
creating a great, enveloping field
of photons and magnetism.

Beyond what words can explain,
beyond concepts,

it connects us with our precious hearts,
with love, with the divine, with something greater,
with what cannot be put into words
or seen with our eyes.

It is a more powerful way than any other.

Beyond understanding,
it awakens the feeling of connection with the heart.

The power born from this intense vibration
holds a potential to transform our consciousness
beyond what we can imagine.

Kazuhisa Kusaba, the ceramic-painting artist who transformed Arita porcelain into a new art form.

Beginning with the opening film,
he shared deeply moving stories about the ideas behind his work,
from the wish-fulfilling jewel
to life and the universe.

Master Kusaba spoke of how “everything is within us”
and of the importance
of holding a question.

Then came
the first screening of LIFE® INOCHI
using projection mapping.

Images projected above, below, and to either side created a sense of immersion.

Through the vibration of music and images,
we connected with the universe within.

We could feel the entire audience being drawn ever more deeply into it.

After the screening, the hall filled with applause.

Master Kusaba then shared his response to LIFE,
speaking from the heart as tears ran down his face.

Sayaka Hashimoto conceived this event

and served as its overall director.

Our friends welcomed everyone with smiles
and helped with all the preparations.

Every performer gave something that stirred the soul.

After the performance, the hall was alive with energy,
as though everyone were sharing in the joy.

Sakai was the setting for the first event
organized by Feel&Sense in Osaka.

I feel that this, too, is a connection leading toward the future.

The Osaka Convention & Tourism Bureau
also supported our work as an official supporter
and joined us at the venue.

Ushio Lighting came from Himeji,
bringing and setting up valuable projection equipment.

LIFE Festival resonated
with everyone who cherishes Master Kusaba.

A vast magnetic field was created.

Perhaps everyone in the hall
was able to experience it for themselves.

Let this encounter become a beginning.
With the Expo in our sights,
from Japan to the world.

Together with everyone who resonated with us,
we want to carry the radiance of life from Japan to the world!

Taking yesterday as our beginning,
I feel a strong wish to create another event next year.

Now, onward to next year!
